Day 55

New Year's Eve! You were sick for the first time today. You had a fever and a horrible cough. You slept almost the entire day. You even slept 7 hours at night too. 

Day 54

Two pictures today because I think you look adorable in the first one. :) We went shopping with your very first gift card today. You picked out a toy picnic basket and a pair of boots :)

Day 53

Mom and Dad went shopping all day today so you hung out at Grandma's house.

It's amazing how many things you have at 7 weeks old. Your toys have already taken over our house... and we love it! 

(and... your daddy may be brainwashing you with football already) :)

Mommy wasn't feeling so good today, so you spent the morning at Aunties.

We celebrated Christmas with the Lindhouts tonight.

It's Christmas Eve! We had two parties today. Then we came home and started the tradition of Christmas Eve jammies. :)

Today we went to a party and found out that Curt and Stephanie are having a little boy. Then we came home and snuggled.

We celebrated Christmas with Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Kyon and Auntie Nieko today.

We brought you to church for the first time today. You did fantastic. We think the loud music kept you content. :)

We celebrated Christmas with the Wiersums tonight. Our little photoshoot didn't go so well, but we had a great night. Dinner, Gifts, and looking at Christmas lights.

Mommy's friend Alicia had her baby yesterday. You and I went up to the hospital today to meet Hattie. You two will be such great friends. I can't wait to watch you grow up together.

You met mommy's friend Katie and her daughter Ellie today.

We had lots of sweet snuggles today.

You had your first "non-family" babysitters today. Mom and Dad had to go to a wedding, so Curt and Steph wanted to hang out with you.

You LOVE watching and listening to your zebra while we change your diaper and clothes.

You smiled at mom for the first {real} time while you were awake.

You sure spend a lot of time sleeping during the day. Now we just need to work on sleep at night.

We hung out at KayLynn and Mekinley's house all day today. KayLynn sure loves you. She makes you pictures all the time. While you were sleeping, she would pile them on you. This was a "ticket to the north pole." :) 

Day 32

Well I was going to post how much you love taking a tubby now, but you started screaming just as I was taking the picture. You still love taking a tubby, but mom cut this one too close to when you had to eat, and boy do you love food too! ;)

You're probably yawning because this dog here barks all night and wakes you up. He's going to Nana and Papa's for awhile.

Mom can't even believe it - You are one month old today!

Day 29

You and mom went grocery shopping for the first time today. You did great and slept the entire time.

Day 28

We went out for dinner for the first time since you were born. Fricano's Too in Holland was tonight's choice. 

Day 27

We took your play mat out today. It kept your attention for about 20 minutes. 

Day 26

Today is your Grandma Greats 80th Birthday. She wanted to spend the day with you. We went to Frederik Meijer Gardens.

Day 25

You are growing more and more every day. You will be out of your "newborn" clothes very soon.

Day 24

You are looking WAY too old. I can't believe how much you change every day. 

Day 23

Your daddy played in a basketball game at Calvin Christian tonight. You slept through the entire game.

Day 22

We spent the evening with friends. You are ADORED by KayLynn.

Day 21

Today was your first Thanksgiving. We celebrated with both sides of the family. You then spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Mom went shopping with your cousin Jaedyn, and Dad caught up on some sleep. 

Day 20

We had your 3 week appointment today. You are growing like crazy. You weigh 8 pounds 2 ounces and are 21 inches long. Your doctor, Jayne Rauwerda is amazing. Such a sweet lady. 

Day 19

Today you got to visit Mommy's class. It was so fun to show you off to all the kids. They loved you!

Day 18

You were a little fussy again today. We spent a lot of time cuddling. 

Day 17

We spent the afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa's house, snuggling with them and Grandma and Grandpa Great. 

Day 16

We went Christmas shopping today. You were so content in your carseat almost the entire time. 

Day 15

Two pictures today! :) We had a very productive day today. First we went shopping at the mall. You sat on Santa's lap for the first time. Santa thought you were absolutely adorable. After that Mommy brought you to Daddy's school to meet his class. They LOVED you. 

Day 14

Mommy's school had another snow day today. We went shopping with Grandma and Steph. You slept almost the entire time. 

Day 13

You were pretty fussy today. We did lots of cuddling while watching Christmas movies. :) 

Day 12

Last night's snow storm brought as much snow as they thought (and it's still snowing). Your daddy even had a snow day today, and was home with us all day. We had a lazy day, cozied up in blankets. 

Day 11

The first big snowstorm came today. We stayed home in jammies all day.
